This course provides an in-depth examination of the key roles and functions of facilities planning and management from the vantage point of a school district’s central office and local school. Participants will examine the many responsibilities district and school leaders perform in their respective facilities-related roles. These duties include but are not limited to: design of learning environments, facilities planning, architectural planning and design, school construction, and facilities management.
