This course is designed as an introductory approach of multiple models to help prepare educators in school administration.  This experience intends to give students a broad lens of the many issues that drives education today.  Students will work to understand leadership/management styles, the impact of rapid cycle change and explore current paradigms of organizational structures. Students will reflect on case studies with a focus on solutions and theoretical ideas.  Students will become familiar with creating an environment to develop a vision and how to assess an organizational culture.   Students will come to understand the role of leaders and the significance of working with governing boards, staff, and the community to create a positive learning environment.
